The Aston Martin DBX, the brand’s first and only SUV, has officially been confirmed to launch in October in India. There is no mention of the sportier, more powerful DBX707, so now only the DBX. When launched in India, DBX will compete with Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus and Audi RS Q8.
According to the report from Wapcar Automotive News, The Aston Martin DBX has officially been confirmed to launch in India next month in October, most likely between the 1st and 7th. The Gaydon-Warwickshire-based company has developed a specialized SUV platform completely new application and it will make a difference from the competition. including the Audi RS Q8, Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne. What’s more, three SUVs are on the basis of the same platform that is relevant to Volkswagen Group MLB Evo.
Aston Martin DBX is equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine produced in-house, producing 542 horsepower and 770Nm of torque. Powertrain duties are taken over by a nine-speed automatic torque converter with electronic gearshift control, and it sends all that power to the standard all-wheel-drive system.
Despite the empty weight of 2,245 kg, the Aston Martin DBX can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in less than 4.5 seconds and from a cruising speed of 80 km / h to 120 km / h in 2.6 seconds. The top speed of the DBX is limited to 291 km/h. As for the design of the DBX, the SUV will immediately remind you of it coming from Aston Martin.
Starting with the large grille with a focussed all-metal fin design flanked by Bi-LED headlights with signature lightweight air ducts (with integrated directional indicator). Similarly, the rear end also has Aston Martin’s signature LED taillights and an electric tailgate with a subtle duck tail.

The DBX SUV’s five-door body style is built around a bonded aluminum unibody, and the body panels are reinforced with aluminum and composite materials. DBX is also very feature-rich. The cabin is equipped with features such as ambient lighting, 3-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera system displayed on a 10.25-inch TFT screen. The infotainment system only supports Apple CarPlay, as well as voice control and Bluetooth connectivity, along with 4 USB ports and a 14-speaker 800-watt Aston Martin Premium sound system. The seats are upholstered in smooth Exotic Black Onyx leather with Alcantara leather headrests.
The price of the next Aston Martin DBX for the Indian market is yet to be confirmed. But given its competition includes a number of premium luxury SUVs, expect the Aston SUV to range in price between Rs 3.35 and Rs 4.
